Timex Watches

Our shop, Timex Watches, is located at 380 Ramkrishna Niwas on 5th Main Road. We are in the Tata Silk Farm area of Dadar East. It’s a bit of a quieter neighborhood compared to the train station side of Dadar. The street has some trees and it feels more like a residential area. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough room for the watches we sell and the ones I’m working on. Most people around here know us as the place to go when their watch starts losing time. I spend a lot of time cleaning out old movements and putting in fresh oil. It’s a slow process, but you can’t rush it or you’ll break a gear. My desk is near the window so I get some natural light during the day, which helps with the small parts. We have some wall clocks for sale too, and sometimes they all chime at once, which can be a bit startling if you aren't expecting it. Dadar East is a nice place to have a business because people stay here for a long time, so you get to know the families. I see kids growing up and then coming back with their own watches years later. It’s a simple life, and I enjoy the craft of fixing things that people still use every day.
