Third Sector Partners

You can find us at 15/B in Sindhi Society, over in the Chembur area of Mumbai. Third Sector Partners is the name on the door. It is a residential area, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads of Mumbai usually do. Our office is basically a converted space where we spend our time working on various projects every week. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist sitting in a fancy suit. Usually, one of us just goes and opens the door when someone knocks. The work we do involves a lot of coordination and planning with different groups. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the big wooden table in the middle of the room. Chembur is a good place to be because it is easy to get to different parts of the city from here. Sometimes we walk over to the local shops to get some lunch. It is a very grounded atmosphere here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art. We just want to get the job done right and move on to the next task. There are always stacks of folders and handwritten notes everywhere because we are always in the middle of something new. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going full blast. Most people who work here live nearby, so we know the local area well. It’s a small operation.
