Tharakan Impex

Tharakan Impex is tucked away in 303 Raviraj, right in Sector 1 of Vashi. It's a pretty standard office building. We spend most of our daylight hours here looking at computer screens and talking on the phone. The elevators in this building are a bit slow, so we often take the stairs if we're in a hurry to meet someone downstairs. Our office isn't very big. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow with old records we probably should have shredded years ago. Vashi is a busy place, and you can hear the traffic from the street if the windows are open. We usually keep them shut to keep the dust out. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the paperwork. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day logistics of importing and exporting. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a few people making sure the orders are correct and the shipping dates are met. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait around, which is frustrating but gives us a chance to actually talk to each other instead of just emailing. It’s a simple routine, day in and day out, making sure the business stays steady.
