Tech Computers

Our small shop is located in the Chembur Camp area, right on Dr. C.G. Road. If you know where Inlaks Hospital is, we are situated just a short walk from there, sitting right next to Kalgidhar Medical. It is a pretty busy spot with people coming and going all the time. We spend most of our day at the back workbench fixing laptops or helping someone find a specific cable or power adapter they have been looking for. The place is often filled with old monitors and keyboards stacked up in the corners. It is definitely not the neatest office you will ever see, but we know exactly where everything is kept. People from the neighborhood usually come in when their computer screens go dark or if their home internet is acting up again. We have seen all sorts of old machines over the years. Sometimes the parts are really hard to find, but we look around until we find a solution that works. We started out here because it is a central location for the camp residents. It gets quite loud with the ambulances and traffic outside, especially being so close to the hospital entrance. We don't really do much advertising; mostly people just see our sign when they are heading to the medical store next door. We keep the shutters up from the morning until late in the evening. It is just a regular local business where we deal with tech problems every day. Some days we are just installing software, and other days we are taking things completely apart.
