We are way up on the 16th floor of the R Tech Park. It’s part of the Nirlon Complex right off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. Being up this high means we see a lot of the city, especially the traffic on the highway. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and you can feel that energy even from the office. Tata Steel Global Wirse India is the name on the door, but inside, it’s just us working through the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on computers and on the phone. The office is in a big glass building, which is different from the smaller shops, but the work is still just work. We have to deal with the commute like everyone else, getting off the highway and finding our way into the complex. The elevators here move pretty fast, which is good because we are up on sixteen. We keep the place organized because we have to handle a lot of information about wire products. It’s not about being flashy; it’s about making sure the data is right and the orders are moving. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, watching the lights of the cars on the Western Express Highway below. It’s a practical environment despite being in a big tech park. We just focus on our specific part of the steel world and keep things running as smoothly as we can.
