Tata Communications

Our office is over in Sector 6, Vashi, which is a pretty well-known part of Navi Mumbai. The exact spot is B-1-49. Vashi is one of those places that was planned out pretty well, so finding the sector isn't too hard, even for people coming from further out in Maharashtra. We’ve been here at Tata Communications for a while now. The building is solid and does the job. It’s not one of those new glass buildings you see in the city center, but it's comfortable enough for the team to work in. We have a lot of regular stuff to handle every day. The commute for most of us involves the local train or a bus, and the walk from the station isn't too bad if the weather is okay. Inside the office, it’s just desks, computers, and people trying to stay on top of their work. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing inside. It feels more like a local workplace where everyone knows your name. There are a few small eateries nearby where we go for lunch when we haven't brought something from home. The area is fairly busy during the day, but it quietens down in the evening. We just keep things running smoothly from this little corner of Navi Mumbai. It’s a practical place for a practical team. We enjoy the local atmosphere here in Vashi.
