Tata Chemicals Limited

Working out of Leela Business Park in Andheri East is quite an experience for all of us. This specific part of the city never really seems to stop moving. We are located over in the Vadinath Society area, which is always packed with people moving back and forth to the train station nearby. Tata Chemicals has its spot here, and sometimes it feels like being inside a big, complex machine. I walk into the building every morning and it's mostly just a lot of desks and a mountain of daily paperwork. It isn’t like those fancy offices you see in magazines; it’s a real place where we actually do the hard work. The elevators are often quite slow in the morning, so you usually end up chatting with someone from another floor while you wait your turn. We spend our days looking at big spreadsheets and talking about chemical supplies and the difficult logistics of moving things around. Outside, the traffic on the main road is almost always backed up for miles. You can hear the constant honking of horns even from the higher floors on most days. The office has that specific smell of old air conditioning and stacks of paper. We have a lot of different people coming in for meetings, but mostly it's just us at our workstations doing our bit. It gets tiring, especially during the rainy season when the walk from the train is a total mess. We don’t really do much besides our daily tasks. We just get things done.
