We are based at Gharda House, which is located at 48 Hill Roadbandra. Gharda Chemicals Ltd is a name you might see on the building if you are walking past all the shops and cafes in this neighborhood. Bandra is a very lively place, and being on Hill Road means there is never a dull moment outside our windows. The traffic can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Inside our office, things are a bit more focused. We have a team that deals with all the technical details of the chemical industry. It is a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls, honestly. We don't have those fancy open-plan offices you see in magazines. It’s mostly just separate desks and stacks of books and manuals everywhere. We’ve been here for many years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot around us. Some of the old shops are gone, but we are still here doing our thing. We usually grab lunch from the local vendors nearby. It’s a practical way to work. We don't put much stock in being flashy or corporate. We just want to get through our tasks and make sure our clients get what they need. It’s a solid, everyday kind of job for us. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped with all the records we keep, but we manage just fine.
