Tantra Solar Products

Tantra Solar Products is located in unit A-502 of Jaya Niwas, which is tucked away in Goraswadi just off S.V. Road in Mumbai. Being in this part of Mumbai means we are right in the middle of everything. The building, Jaya Niwas, is a typical Mumbai structure, and our office on the fifth floor is where we handle all the solar product stuff. S.V. Road is always loud and crowded, but once you get up to the fifth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We have solar samples and parts scattered around the room because we’re always checking something or showing a piece to a visitor. It’s not a corporate showroom, just a functional space where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with suppliers or talking to people about their setups. The lift in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we’ve gotten used to waiting. We don’t wear suits or have big meetings. It’s usually just us sitting around a table figuring out the best way to get an order out. Living and working in Mumbai means you have to be quick, and we try to keep up with the pace as best as we can. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighborhood feels like home. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup for us. We usually have the window open to get a breeze, even if it brings in the sounds of the busy Mumbai streets below us.
