Tantra International, Mumbai

We are based out of Malad West, specifically at A 502, Jaya Niwas Goras Wadi, just off S. V. Road. Tantra International, Mumbai, has been running from this apartment-style office for a while now. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't familiar with the Goras Wadi area, but once you find Jaya Niwas, it’s straightforward. We do a lot of international trade and sourcing. Most of our day is spent on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. The space is filled with files, samples of various products, and a lot of coffee mugs. Living and working in Mumbai means things are always moving fast, and we just try to keep pace. We don't have a flashy showroom. It’s just an office where we handle the paperwork and logistics of moving goods. Sometimes the monsoon makes the commute a mess, but we still show up and get to it. We deal with people from all over, but we’re just a local Mumbai team at heart. The building is a bit old, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just care about making sure the orders are correct and the shipping dates are met. It’s a lot of detail-oriented stuff. That’s what a day looks like for us here in Malad. We usually stay late to catch people in different time zones, but that’s just the job. It gets noisy with the traffic on S. V. Road, but you get used to it.
