Tambawala Metal Mart

You can find Tambawala Metal Mart at No - 37 on Yaqoob Street. We are very close to J.J. Hospital in the Masjid area. If you’ve ever been here, you know how packed the streets are with people and carts. It’s a very old part of the city and everything feels a bit crowded and worn out, but there’s a lot of energy too. We handle all sorts of metal trading from this small spot. The office isn't much to look at. We have some wooden cabinets that have been here for decades and a lot of old ledgers. We don't use much technology besides the basics. Most of our work is done through talking to people who walk in or calling up old contacts. The noise from the hospital area and the nearby market is constant. Sometimes it's hard to hear a person on the phone because of the trucks outside. We don't claim to be the biggest or the most modern. We are just a traditional metal mart doing things the way they’ve always been done in this neighborhood. We drink a lot of tea and spend our time checking the weight of different items. It’s a simple life, and we like the people who come by to chat even if they aren't buying anything that day.
