Swastik Arts

Swastik Arts is located in Malad West, right on the 15th A Cross in Phase I. We’ve been set up here for a good amount of time. Our work is all about art and signs, but it’s more of a trade than a hobby for us. We spend our days with paint, brushes, and various materials. Malad West is a busy area, and being in Phase I means there’s always something going on around us. Our shop isn't a fancy gallery. It’s a place where things are made. There are usually paint splashes on the floor and scraps of material in the corners. We like it that way because it shows we’re working. We don't use a lot of big words to talk about our vision or anything like that. We just take an order and try to make it look right. Sometimes the ideas don't work out on the first try, so we have to adjust and try again. It’s a lot of trial and error. We’ve gotten to know many of the people in the neighborhood who stop by to see what we are working on. We aren't some big corporate chain; it’s just us doing the best we can with the tools we have. We like the freedom of running our own shop. It’s a simple life, focused on the work at hand. Every morning we open up, look at the projects on the bench, and just get started.
