Satkar Art Line

Our shop is located at 201 in the Vinayak Darshan building, right on MG Road in Kandivili West. It’s pretty easy to find since we are right across from Vinayak Nursing Home and near Vora Colony. Being on the second floor means it's a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when you're looking at art supplies. We have all sorts of stuff tucked away in the corners here. Some days it’s quiet and we just spend time organizing the brushes and paints, and other days it’s a bit of a rush with students coming in for their projects. The building itself is an older one, so it has that lived-in feel. We try to keep everything in stock, but sometimes things run out and we have to wait for the next delivery to arrive. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the locals who live in the colonies around here. Kandivili is a busy place, and MG Road always has something going on. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and most people around here know where to find us. It’s not a huge space, but we make the most of it. We usually keep the windows open to let in some air, even if the traffic noise comes in with it. If you’re coming by, look for the nursing home and you’ll see our building right there. We're usually around from morning until the evening, unless we have to step out for a quick delivery nearby.
