Our place is tucked away in the Guru Gobind Industrial Estate, right at unit 33. If you are coming from the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East, you probably know the Jaycoach area and how busy it gets. Superlite Lighting Company has been operating out of this spot for years. It is not a shiny showroom; it is more of a working warehouse where we keep all the bulbs, fixtures, and lighting gear. There are usually boxes stacked up in the corners and someone is almost always checking the inventory lists. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails about different lighting setups. The 022 area code is definitely home for us. The noise from the highway is pretty constant, but after a few weeks, you do not even hear it anymore. Our staff mostly lives nearby and we have a pretty steady routine. We are not trying to be a giant corporation with hundreds of layers of management. It is just a group of people who understand how lighting works and we try to get things out the door without making mistakes. Sometimes the dust from the industrial estate gets in, but we just clean it up and keep going. We do not use a lot of big words or fancy talk to describe what we do. We just handle the lights and make sure the orders are correct for whoever needs them.
