Moving house is always a bit of a mess, and that’s basically what we deal with every day here at Laxmi Nivas Society. Our office is right there in Sakinaka, near the masjid, and it stays pretty hectic. We spend most of our time packing boxes, taping things up, and making sure the furniture doesn't get scratched. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, especially in the heat. We have our trucks parked nearby and we’re always loading or unloading something. The traffic near Lokmanya Tilak Nagar can be a real nightmare, so we try to start our trips early in the morning. We aren't some massive company with a huge fleet of vehicles; we’re just a local crew that knows how to wrap a fridge so it doesn't break. People around here in Masjid Bunder know us because we’ve been helping folks move for a while. Our office is simple, just a place to keep the packing materials and take some notes. We see a lot of families stressed out about their stuff, and we just try to get it all moved from point A to point B without any drama. It’s simple work but it’s hard on the back. We just show up, do the job, and move on to the next house. That’s how we’ve always done things here in this neighborhood.
