Our office, Sunjary Steels Pvt. Ltd., is located in Office No. 10 at Kapoli Niwas, which is number 51 on 1st Carpenter Street near C.P. Tank. It’s a very busy commercial area, and the streets are often narrow and crowded with carts and workers. Being in the steel business means we are surrounded by similar shops and warehouses. Our office is small and functional, with enough room for a few desks and a place for clients to sit. There are samples of different metal grades lying around and stacks of invoices on every flat surface. We start the day by checking the latest prices and calling around to see what’s available. It’s not a polished environment; there’s usually some dust from the street and the sound of metal being moved nearby. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the building has that old-school feel to it. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a clock that’s five minutes fast. Most of our work is done over the phone or with people who stop by to discuss their requirements. It’s a lot of haggling and checking specifications. We eat our lunch at the desks and keep working until the sun goes down. It’s honest, gritty work in a part of town that never really sleeps. We just try to keep the supply moving and the orders filled as they come through.
