You can find us over at the Shree Ram Estate in Girgaon. We are up on the 5th floor, which can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting slow, but we have made it our home for years. Girgaon is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel it in the narrow lanes and the older buildings around us. We deal in metals, mostly supplying what other small businesses in the area need for their own work. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, mixed with checking the inventory we keep in the back rooms. The estate is always buzzing with other small workshops, so there is a lot of noise and people moving about in the hallways. We are not a huge corporation despite what the name might sound like; we are just a small team trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with metal samples and old ledgers. We prefer it that way because everything we need is within reach of our desks. We know the tea seller downstairs and the guys at the main gate by name. It is a tight-knit environment to work in. When an order comes in, we make sure the metal is the right grade and the weight is exactly what was asked for. There is no secret to it, just checking things over and over. We do not have a fancy lobby for visitors.
