Sun Forge India

Sun Forge India is located at 17/19 Avantikabai Gokhle Street in G T B Nagar. We are based in the Kanti Bhavan building, which is a solid old place that suits the kind of work we do. Forging metal is a hot and loud process, so our shop is always filled with the sounds of hammers and the smell of heated iron. We don't have a showroom or anything like that because most of what we make goes straight to other businesses or construction sites. The street outside can be quite narrow, especially when trucks are trying to deliver raw materials to us. We spend our time at the back where the equipment is kept. It’s a lot of physical work and we often go home with dirt on our hands. Being at Kanti Bhavan for so long, we have become used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We have a couple of desks for the paperwork, but the real work happens on the floor with the metal. We focus on the dimensions and the strength of the pieces we produce. It is a straightforward industrial shop. Sometimes neighbors complain about the noise, but that is the nature of a forge. We keep our heads down and finish the jobs as they come in. G T B Nagar is a busy area, but once you are inside the shop, it’s all about the forge and the steel.
