Ascort Lubricants

Our shop is right on Kazi Sayed Street, inside the Hem Prakash building. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with trucks and loaders moving around all day. Ascort Lubricants has been here for a bit, surrounded by the smell of oil and heavy machinery. It is not a quiet place to work. There are always barrels being moved and orders being written down on paper scraps. We deal with all sorts of lubricants for engines and machines. People come in looking for something specific to stop a squeak or keep a motor running smooth. It is dusty work and my clothes usually have a few oil spots by lunch. I don't mind it. The street outside is always humming with people buying and selling stuff. We keep our stock organized as much as we can in the space we have. It is a bit tight inside, but we make it work. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for deliveries, but we are used to the chaos of the market. We don't do much talking; we just get the cans and drums ready for whoever needs them. It’s a straightforward business. We sell the oil, people use it, and that’s that. No need for anything more complicated than a good drum of grease and a steady hand. Every day is the same, but it keeps us busy and the wheels turning.
