Our place is over in Andheri East, tucked away in the New Empire Industrial Estate on Kondivita Road. Being in Mumbai means we are always fighting for space, and this unit at A-76 is no different. It’s a busy spot where the sound of the city never really stops. We do our manufacturing work here, mostly focusing on getting things out the door before the monsoon rains make the roads a mess. The estate itself is old, so you have to know your way around the lanes to find us without getting lost. Inside, it is mostly functional with machines taking up most of the room. We don't have any air conditioning in the main area, so the big exhaust fans are our best friends during the humid months. It’s a practical setup where we value getting the job done over having a polished front office. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. There's a small tea shop just outside the gate where we usually gather for a break. It's not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We deal with the usual issues like power cuts or late material arrivals, but we just find a way to work around them. It is just a regular factory doing regular work in a crowded part of the city, and we are fine with that.
