Sun Flower School has been at 36 Ridge Road for quite a while now. If you walk past during the day, you’ll probably hear the kids shouting during their break or the sound of chairs dragging across the floor. It’s a sturdy old building that has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. The rooms are filled with desks that have a few scratches on them, and the hallways are narrow but they get the job done for the classes we hold. We don’t have a massive campus like some of the newer places, but the space we have is used every single day. The morning starts early here with the yellow buses pulling up and the gatekeeper waving everyone in while checking bags. We have some trees around the edge of the property that provide a bit of shade when the sun is hitting the road hard in the afternoons. It’s a fairly quiet part of the city compared to others, but inside the gates, it is always moving with people. The teachers carry stacks of notebooks and the office is usually piled with papers that need sorting. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the bells ring on time so the day flows like it’s supposed to. It’s not a complicated setup, just a school where people show up, do their work, and head home when the sun starts to go down.
