Bombay Cambridge School

If you walk down Caesar Road in Andheri West, you will find Bombay Cambridge School. It is an old neighborhood with a lot of character, and we have been a part of it for quite some time. The building has a classic look, and it’s seen a lot of Mumbai monsoons over the years. We deal with the typical Andheri traffic every day, which means the mornings are always a bit loud with horns honking outside. Inside the gates, though, it feels a bit more organized. Our classrooms have high ceilings and large windows, though we often have to keep them shut because of the street noise. The teachers here are hardworking people who carry around stacks of papers and various supplies for their lessons. We have a small playground where the kids play football or just run around during their breaks. It is always interesting to see how many different types of families we have here, all coming from different parts of the city. We don’t have much in the way of luxury, but we have everything we need to run a proper school. The staff room is usually full of talk about the upcoming exams or the latest changes in the city. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a place with a lot of history, and we just try to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved.
