Witty International School

Witty International School is tucked away in Pawan Baug, just off the busy S V Road in Malad West. Mumbai is a crowded city, and our corner of Malad is no different. Every morning is a scramble to get the buses parked correctly in the narrow lanes. We have been here for a while now, and the school has grown quite a bit. Inside, the rooms are bright, but you can still hear the hum of the city outside the windows. The staff starts early, usually before the sun is even fully up, to get everything ready for the day. There is always a lot of chatter in the hallways between classes, and the sound of footsteps on the tiled floors never really stops until late afternoon. We have a small area for sports and activities, which gets very crowded during the lunch break. The humidity in Mumbai can be tough, so we try to keep the fans going, but some days it’s just hot. We have a mix of teachers, some who have been here for years and some who are just starting out. It’s a busy environment where we are always checking the clock to make sure we are on schedule. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s a typical Malad school day.
