Suman Metallloys

We are over at Plot No 74 in Darukhana, specifically on the 2nd Lane in Mazgaon. This part of town is very industrial and known for its metal trade. Our place is near the New Sama Road area. We handle various types of alloys and metal pieces. The yard is usually full of heavy stuff that needs to be moved with a lot of effort. It’s a gritty environment with the smell of iron and the sound of metal clanging together. We don't have a polished office. Most of the work happens outside or in the shed where the materials are sorted. It’s the kind of place where your clothes get dirty within five minutes of starting work. We deal with a lot of different people who need specific types of metal for their own projects or manufacturing. Keeping track of the inventory is a constant job because things are always coming and going. The lanes in Darukhana are narrow and can get blocked easily by big trucks, so there is always some shouting and maneuvering going on. We’ve been in this plot for years and we’ve seen the way the industry has changed, but the basics of handling metal remain the same. It’s about knowing the weight and the type of material you are looking at. We just keep our heads down and get the loading and unloading done every single day.
