Suevia Straps

Our place is at 14-A Fazal Mansion, right in the middle of Nagdevi. If you know the 9th Main area, you know how packed it gets. We are in the 5th Block and the building has been here for a long time. It’s got that old-fashioned feel with the narrow stairs and the heavy doors. We deal with watch straps mostly, and there are boxes piled up everywhere you look. It’s not a showroom by any means. It’s more of a workspace where we sort through orders and check the quality of the leather and buckles. Some days the humidity makes the leather smell really strong, but you get used to it after a few years. We spend hours sitting at the benches, fixing things or packing boxes for shipping. Nagdevi is always loud with carts and people shouting, so it’s never really quiet here until we close up late at night. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we use these old desk lamps to see what we're doing with the smaller parts. We’ve been in this mansion for a while and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they wanted to. It’s a straightforward business. We get the straps in, we check them, and we send them out. Nothing more to it than that. It keeps us busy and the routine is what keeps us going.
