My name is Subeesh and I operate from Sector-1 in Vashi. It’s a busy part of Navi Mumbai, which most people know is always moving. I’m located in 2-1, D-2, which is easy enough to find once you get into the sector. I don't have a big staff or anything like that. It is mostly just me handling the day-to-day things that come up. Being in Vashi is great because the station is nearby and there are shops for everything you could ever need. I started this because I wanted to do something on my own terms without a boss breathing down my neck. The space isn't huge but it fits my desk and all the papers I have to keep track of. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few months. I’ve lived in this area for a while now, so I know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick snack when I'm working late. I don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done right. People who come by usually stay for a chat. It isn't a corporate environment where everything is timed. I just do the work and try to be fair with everyone I meet. It’s a decent way to make a living and I like being part of the local community here in Mumbai. I have been here for a few years and Vashi feels right.
