Walking down Ramdas Nayak Marg, or Hill Road as everyone calls it, you can’t really miss our spot at number 65. Bandra is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. The gates here have seen a lot of history, and the stone walls have a way of making you feel like time slowed down a little bit, even with all the shopping and traffic right outside. We spend our days mostly walking between the old classrooms and the outdoor spaces. It’s not always quiet; you can hear the buses and the shouting from the market if the wind blows the right way. We have a lot of stairs to climb and the hallways are usually echoing with someone’s footsteps. The staff handles a lot of the small details that people don't really see, like fixing broken latches or tidying up the common areas. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks, like doors that stick in the monsoon and corners that get a bit dusty no matter how much you sweep. We don't have a corporate office feel here at all. It’s more like a lived-in space where people have been coming for decades. We show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep the place in one piece. We focus on the everyday things, like checking the lights and making sure the benches are straight. It’s just how things are on Hill Road for us, and we are used to the constant noise and the activity.
