Sterling Information Resources is over in Mulund West. We are in the Mira-Niketan building on V.S Road. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and the street outside is almost always full of cars and people walking to the station. We work in the information business, which means we spend a lot of our time verifying facts and doing background checks for other businesses. It’s a lot of sitting at computers and making calls to check if things are true. The office at B/9 is a modest space. We aren't one of those big tech firms with bean bags and free snacks; we just have our desks and our files. It gets a bit repetitive sometimes, looking through records all day, but it’s what we are good at. We have a small team of people who have been here long enough to know the routine inside out. Sometimes the air conditioning makes a weird noise, and the piles of paper on the desks seem to grow overnight, but we keep on top of it. Mulund is a good place to be based because it's well-connected. We just show up, do the research, and send out our reports. There’s no mystery to it. We just provide the data that people ask for, and we’ve been doing it from this same V.S Road office for quite some time now.
