Steel-Mac

Steel-Mac is situated at 129/C in the Govt. Industrial Estate in Charkop, Kandivali West. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by all sorts of other workshops and busy factories. It is always noisy around here and there is usually a lot of heavy truck traffic on the narrow roads. We focus mostly on steel fabrication and general machining work. Our workshop floor is filled with lathes, milling machines, and various welding equipment. It is certainly not the cleanest place you will ever see, but that is just how a real machine shop is supposed to look. We spend our days working off technical drawings and turning pieces of raw steel into finished parts. It is precision work, even if the general environment feels a bit rough and ready. Our team consists of people who have been working with metal for many years and know exactly what they are doing. We do not use much in the way of high-tech marketing or sales tactics. Most of our work comes from other industrial companies nearby who need specific parts made for their own machines. We do not have a big front office or a dedicated sales team. If you want to talk to us about a project, you usually have to come right into the shop and find someone who is not currently busy at a machine. We just focus on the specific job at hand. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to redo a piece, but we just get on with it without complaining. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of business. We keep at it.
