Our office is in Kurla West, right near the New Post Office. If you know Mumbai, you know that Kurla is a place that is always moving and never stays quiet. We are located in Sayba Palace, specifically unit 603 on the sixth floor of the C-Wing on New Mill Road. It’s a busy building with a lot of different small businesses all crammed together. We just call ourselves Steel. We don't feel like we need a complicated name for what we do. It’s crowded and loud outside with all the cars, the rickshaws, and the people heading to the station, but inside the office is where we get things done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone and checking lists. Space is definitely tight in Mumbai, so our office is often packed with stacks of papers and a few computers. We aren't a big firm with a fancy lobby or a receptionist sitting at the front. Usually, whoever happens to be closest to the door is the one who opens it for you. We've been in the 400 070 area code for a long time now. It’s a good spot because everything you might need is close by. We don't do much in terms of promotion or advertising. Most people find us because they are already in the industry and heard we have a desk here. We just handle the daily grind of the steel business. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us all going.
