Steel Tonch

Steel Tonch is located at 96 Girgaon. This is an old part of the city, and our building reflects that. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a long time. It’s a busy neighborhood with narrow lanes and a lot of history. Our shop is focused on steel and metal work. It’s not a clean or quiet place. You’ll hear the sound of metal being moved and the smell of industrial work when you walk in. We keep our stock piled up, and the walls are covered with tools and notes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they need specific steel pieces or custom work done. We don't have a fancy showroom. What you see is exactly what we are—a working metal shop in the heart of Girgaon. We deal with contractors and individual homeowners who are doing renovations. Dealing with steel is heavy, dirty work, but we enjoy the process of making things. The 96 address has been our base through many changes in the area. We’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s a family-style operation, really. We don't have big meetings; we just get to work in the morning and finish when the orders are done. It’s honest, manual labor that keeps this city building and growing. We're just glad to be a small part of that, even if our hands are always a bit greasy.
