Steel Mades

Steel Mades is our operation located in Ghatkopar West, right on L B S Marg at D 114. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time now. As the name suggests, we deal mostly with steel and metalwork. The workshop is usually noisy with the sound of cutting and grinding. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working shop, so that’s expected. We take on all sorts of jobs, from small repairs to bigger projects that take a few weeks. Our staff is a small group of people who aren't afraid of a bit of manual labor. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just stand around the workbench and talk it out until we find a fix. L B S Marg is a busy stretch, so there’s always people passing by. We like being in Ghatkopar because it’s central and easy for our suppliers to reach. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in a physical ledger on the desk. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it hasn't failed us yet. We focus on the quality of the metal and making sure things are sturdy. That’s what matters most at the end of the day. We stay busy and keep our heads down, which is all you can really do.
