Steel Force South Asia

Our office is in rooms 710 and 711 of the Janki Centre on Andheri Station Road. Being so close to the station makes it easy for us to get to work, but it also means the area is always packed with people. We deal with steel, so our day is mostly spent on the phone talking about tonnages and prices. The Janki Centre is a busy commercial building with lots of different businesses, so there is always a lot of coming and going in the hallways. Our space is quite functional, with desks for the staff and a small area where we can talk to visitors. We don't have a lot of decorations, just some calendars and maybe a few samples of the metal we work with. It’s a professional environment but in a very local, practical way. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure the logistics for the steel delivery are all lined up. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. We aren't a huge corporation, just a dedicated group of people who understand the steel market and how to get things moved around South Asia. We just focus on the numbers and the shipments, keeping things as simple as possible. It’s a steady job and we like the pace of Andheri. We have been here for a while and the staff knows how to handle the heavy workload.
