Steel Fab Industries

Steel Fab Industries is tucked away at number 11 inside the Harichand Mill Compound on LBS Marg. If you know this part of Vikhroli West, you know how crowded and loud it gets. We are in one of those old industrial spots that has seen better days, but it works perfectly for the kind of steel fabrication we do. We spend our days cutting, welding, and bending heavy metal. It is a noisy place with sparks flying and the floor is always covered in metal shavings and scrap pieces. We aren't a corporate setup with polished floors and glass walls. My desk is usually covered in messy drawings and a few oily fingerprints. We take on all kinds of jobs, from big structural pieces to small repair works for people in the neighborhood. Being in Vikhroli means we are close to so many other workshops, so if a machine breaks or we need a specific bolt, someone usually has it just a few doors down. The guys out on the floor have decades of experience with these machines, and we just handle the work as it comes in. Sometimes the power goes out or an old welder acts up, and we just have to fix it and keep moving. It is honest, hard work. We don't spend any money on fancy signs because most people find us just by knowing we've been in the compound for years. It's a bit of a maze getting here, but we like it.
