Steel Commodities Corporation

Our office is on the 1st floor of Sambara Chambers at 20 Sir P.M. Road, right in the Fort area. It is an old building and you have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. The office itself is quite plain, with just enough room for our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We have been doing this for a long time, trading in steel commodities and managing all the paperwork that comes with it. The street outside is always full of noise from the cars and the people walking by, but inside it is mostly just the sound of us typing or talking on the phone. We don't use any fancy technology, just the basic stuff to get the job done. Our team is small and we’ve all worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done. We keep track of the steel prices and handle the logistics of moving bulk orders around. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady and keeps us busy from morning till evening. We don't have any big missions or slogans, we just try to handle the orders as they come in and make sure the files are in the right place. Being in Fort means we are close to everything, which is helpful when we need to meet people or get things signed by the banks nearby.
