Steel Commdities Corpn.

We have our office at 20, Sir P. M. Road, in a building called Shambhava Chambers. It is right in the heart of the Fort area, which is always bustling with people and old buildings. Our space is just a regular office where we handle the trading of steel commodities. It is not very big, and it gets pretty crowded when we have all the staff in at once. We spend most of the day on the phones, talking to different suppliers and checking on the market. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of old paper and wood. We’ve been here for a long time, so we are used to the creaky floors and the slow elevator. We deal with various types of steel and try to keep things moving. It is a lot of back-and-forth work, making sure the orders are right and the delivery times are okay. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Our work comes from the connections we’ve made over the years on Sir P. M. Road. Sometimes the traffic in Fort is so bad that it takes forever for anyone to get to us, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We just keep our heads down and focus on the numbers and the files on our desks. It’s a practical way to run a business without any unnecessary fluff.
