Steel Aids India is right here at 51, Kapol Niwas, specifically in office twenty-eight up on the third floor. 1st Carpenter Street is usually pretty packed, and we have been handling our steel business from this spot for a good while now. You have to climb some stairs or wait for the lift, but it’s just part of the day. The building is older, but it works for what we do. Downstairs is always noisy with carts moving around and people shouting orders, but up here it’s mostly just us getting the paperwork and orders sorted. We spend most of the morning checking stock lists and talking to guys about what kind of steel they need for their projects. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and samples lying about on the desks, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical office where the work gets done. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain makes things a bit messy on the street, but we just keep at it. Most of the people around here know us by now since we've been on Carpenter Street for such a long time. It is a busy place to be, but we like being in the middle of all the metal trade action. We just focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it without making too much of a fuss.
