We are Star Tempo Services. Our base is right on Carnac Road, specifically at number 42. It’s a hectic part of Masjid Bunder West, right near Crawford Market. If you know the market area, you know how much traffic there is. We’ve been operating from here for a long time. It’s a good spot because everything is moving all the time. Our tempos are always going in and out. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to coordinate the drivers and the loads. It gets noisy with all the trucks and people around Maharashtra B. We handle a lot of different jobs. Sometimes it’s just moving stuff across the street, other times it’s further. Masjid Bunder is the heart of the trade here, so we stay busy. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to move the goods. Most of the guys here have lived in this part of Mumbai their whole lives. We know the shortcuts when the traffic gets bad near Crawford. You can usually find us around the office early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We don't really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how we get most of our work. People know us at 42 Carnac Road. We just try to get the tempos where they need to go without too much trouble. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace and the madness of the market.
