Star Spring Works

You can find Star Spring Works over in Malad East, right on Rani Sati Marg in Sanjay Nagar. We’re tucked in near the Gujarat Tea House, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We spend our days working with springs of all shapes and sizes. The shop is usually a bit dusty and the machines are always making some kind of noise. We don't mind. It’s just how it is when you’re working with metal and coils. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just a local outfit. Some of us have been here since we were young. We know the Sanjay Nagar neighborhood pretty well by now. The tea from next door is a regular part of our morning. We get the orders in, we do the bending and the cutting, and we get them out. It’s hard work on the hands, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just have our tools and our experience. People usually find out about us because they’re in Malad and need something fixed or made. We keep our doors open and try to help whoever walks in. It’s a simple life at the workshop.
