Star Fabrication Works

We are located right off the Ghatkopar Link Road in Mankhurd, specifically at Plot Number 1/15 in Yaswantrao Chauhan Nagar. If you’ve ever driven past this way, you know how hectic the traffic can be. Our shop is right in the middle of it all. It’s a fabrication unit, so there is always the sound of welding machines and metal being cut. It’s loud and it’s hot, but that’s just how fabrication work is. We don't have a big office with glass windows. It’s mostly just the open workshop floor where we spend our ten-hour shifts. We deal with a lot of iron and steel every day. The floors are usually covered in scrap pieces and dust, no matter how much we sweep. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops or families living in the nagar. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a while, and everyone around knows the sound of our shutters opening in the morning. Sometimes we have to move big pieces of metal out onto the edge of the road to load them onto trucks, which is always a bit of a struggle with the traffic passing by. We eat our lunch sitting on whatever stools or crates are free. It’s a basic life here, just focusing on the gates or grills or whatever the current job requires. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just do the fabrication work and go home when the work is finished.
