Star Electronics

Our shop is located on M G Road, right over in Metha Nagar 28. If you’ve spent any time in this part of town, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We’ve got shelves full of parts and old gadgets that people brought in and forgot about years ago. It's a bit of a squeeze inside because we have so many tools and wires laying around on the workbenches. We spend most of the day looking through magnifying glasses or trying to find a specific screw that rolled under the table. People bring in all sorts of things, from broken televisions to remotes that stopped working for no reason. Sometimes we can fix them in ten minutes, other times it takes a week just to find the right part from a supplier. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms or anything. It’s usually just a couple of us with burnt fingertips from the soldering irons. The tea stall next door is where we go when the heat gets to be too much in the afternoons. We don't have a website, just the sign out front and the phone that rings more than it probably should. We try to be honest about whether something is worth fixing or if it’s just junk. Electronics can be stubborn, and sometimes they just don't want to cooperate no matter how much we tinker with them. We’ve been at this spot for years and the neighbors know us well by now.
