You’ll find Star Electric Co. right in the middle of Lohar Chawl. We are in Devkaran Mansion, specifically Office No-18 on the ground floor. If you’ve ever been to Vithaldas Road, you know it’s packed with electrical shops of all kinds. It’s a busy place with people carrying wires and lights everywhere you look. We’ve been here for years, dealing with all sorts of electrical components. The shop is small, but we pack a lot into the shelves. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling sometimes and it can be hard to move around. We spend our days helping people find the right parts for their homes or construction projects. It’s not a quiet job at all. There’s always someone asking for a price or looking for a specific switch they can't find elsewhere. Being on the ground floor really helps because it’s easy for people to just walk in from the street without any hassle. We don’t use any fancy sales talk or marketing tricks. We just show you what we have and tell you the price honestly. Lohar Chawl is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s where the electrical business happens. We like it here in Devkaran Mansion. It’s got that old market feel that you don't find in modern malls. We just keep our heads down and serve the customers well.
