Dhimant Trading Co.

Dhimant Trading Co. is situated in Office No-21 on the third floor of Steelyard House. We are right on S. T. Road, very close to the Iron Market in Dana Bunder. It’s a very old part of Mumbai, and the building has that classic feel with high ceilings and heavy doors. To get to us, you have to take the stairs or the old lift, which sometimes has a mind of its own. Our office isn't very large, but it’s packed with files, registers, and the sound of phones ringing. Being so close to the Iron Market means we are always in the middle of the action. We can hear the trucks loading and unloading outside all day long. Most of our work is done over the phone or with people who walk over from the market to discuss trades. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum away while we work. The windows stay open to catch a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in the city noise. We’ve been trading from this same spot for years, and not much has changed in our daily routine. We check the prices, talk to our contacts, and manage the paperwork for the shipments. It’s a simple trading operation where experience counts for more than a shiny office. We just make sure the numbers add up and the deals are done right before we head home through the busy Mumbai streets.
