Mehta Manufacturers

Mehta Manufacturers is located at Plot Number 25-A on Sarang Street. We are just a short walk from Crawford Market, so as you can imagine, the area is incredibly busy almost every hour of the day. Our workshop is right in the thick of it. It’s a crowded street full of wholesalers and people looking for a bargain. We have been making things here for a long time, and our space is filled with tools and materials. It isn't the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We aren't a big factory with automated lines; a lot of what we do involves manual work and keeping a close eye on the details. The noise from the market outside is just background music to us now. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or they heard about us from someone else on Sarang Street. We just focus on the manufacturing side and try to keep our customers happy by doing a solid job. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, but we just work around it. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, and we like the personal connections we have with the other traders around Crawford Market. It’s just us, doing our work, day in and day out, in this old part of the city.
