We are located in Mumbai, specifically in the 400 083 pin code area. It is a crowded part of the city, but that is just Mumbai for you. We deal with stainless steel every single day of the week. The warehouse is usually full of pipes, sheets, and heavy rods. It is a bit dusty and loud because of the trucks coming in and out to load materials. We have been in this business for quite some time now. People come to us when they need specific cuts or just a few pieces of steel for a job they are doing at home or for work. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It is just a functional space where we store the metal and move it out to customers who need it. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult with the transport and loading, but we manage to keep things going. My desk is usually covered in invoices and small samples of different steel grades we keep for reference. We talk to a lot of contractors and small workshop owners who need regular supplies without the nonsense. It is hard work, lifting and moving heavy stuff, but it is what we know how to do. The guys in the back are good at what they do, even if they aren't always wearing the cleanest uniforms. It is a real workplace. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory is counted correctly at the end. That is how we run things at Stainless Steel Co in Maharashtra.
