We've been here on Shivdas Champsey Road for a while now. It's a busy part of Mazagaon. Every morning, you see the yellow buses pulling up and parents dropping off their kids near the gate. The building has that old feel to it, maybe some chipped paint here and there, but it's home for us. Inside, it's mostly the sound of desks moving and teachers talking over the city noise outside. We don't have fancy glass walls, just regular classrooms with windows that let in the breeze when it's not too humid. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the local shops and the shortcut through Mazagaon Road. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day. You can hear the shouting from the playground all the way down the hall. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from fixing a leaky tap to making sure the registers are done. Some days are smoother than others. We just show up, do the job, and try to make sure the students learn something useful before the bell rings at the end of the day. It’s just a normal school where people work hard. Nothing flashy. We see the same faces every day and that’s how it goes. Sometimes the traffic on Shivdas Champsey gets bad, making everyone a bit late, but we just deal with it. It’s part of being in this neighborhood. We don't need fancy flyers to tell people who we are.
