St. Andrew High School

St. Andrew High School is right here on St. Dominic Road in Bandra West. It's an old part of town, and the school has been sitting on this corner for a long time. You probably know the area if you live around here. People walk their kids to the gate every morning, and the traffic gets a bit messy when classes let out. It’s just a regular school building, nothing too fancy, with the usual classrooms and a playground that gets quite dusty in the dry months. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint in some spots, but that’s how it goes with old buildings in Bandra. You can hear the bells from the church nearby sometimes. Most of the staff have been here for years, and we all know each other's names. It isn't a huge campus, but it fits what we need. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It's just a place where kids come to learn their subjects and hang out with their friends during the breaks. The desks are the old wooden kind, and there’s always a bit of chalk dust in the air in the hallways. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come onto the roof, which causes a bit of a stir. It's just life here on St. Dominic Road. We open the gates early and lock up once the last football game is done on the ground.
