S.S.Foundry

S.S.Foundry is located over in J.B. Nagar, Andheri-E. It’s a loud, hot, and busy place, exactly what you’d expect from a foundry. We don’t have a fancy reception area. When you walk in, you’re likely to see sparks or hear the sound of metal being worked. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. The heat from the furnaces is something you never really get used to, but it’s part of the job. We make various metal castings and parts that go into all sorts of machinery. Most of our guys have soot on their clothes by the end of the shift. We aren’t a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere. We’re a workshop where things actually get built. Andheri-East is a good location for us because it’s close to where our customers are. We don’t spend money on big ads. Our reputation comes from the heavy parts we send out. Sometimes things go wrong with a mold, and we have to start over. That’s just the nature of foundry work. We don’t sugarcoat things. If a job is going to take two weeks, we tell you it’s going to take two weeks. We value honest work and getting the dimensions right. It’s a gritty business, but someone has to do it, and we’re happy it’s us. We just keep the fires going and get the orders finished.
