We are located in the Sugar House building at 93/95 Kazi Sayed Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s famous for all the trading and shipping activity that happens near the docks. Sri Radhakrishna Shipping P.Ltd. fits right in with the rest of the offices around here. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk up the old stairs. Our office is fairly small, but it’s where all the work happens. It’s mostly just a lot of phone calls and checking on vessel schedules. Kazi Sayed Street is always loud with the sounds of trucks and people shouting, which can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. We spend our days making sure the shipping documents are in order and that the cargo is moving. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation with fancy logos and expensive furniture. We’re just a group of people who know how the shipping world works and we do our part. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. It’s a very practical kind of life. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we’ve seen the industry change quite a bit. But at the end of the day, it’s still about getting things from the port to where they need to go.
