Spring Blossom Play Home

Spring Blossom Play Home is over in Ghatkopar East, right near Anjana Estate on Village Road, close to Vikrant Circle and Tilak Road. It’s an old building, but we’ve made it work for the kids. It’s never quiet here. There’s always someone crying or laughing or dropping a toy on the floor. I started this because I noticed parents in the Tilak Road area needed a place for their kids during the day. It’s not a huge fancy school with a big playground. We have a few rooms and a bunch of toys and mats. The walls have some drawings on them that the kids did. Ghatkopar East is a busy place, so we have to be careful with the gate because of the traffic on Village Road. I spend most of my day making sure everyone is safe and has had their snack. It’s exhausting, to be honest. Some days I wonder why I chose this, but then the kids do something funny and it’s fine. We don't have any shiny brochures. Parents usually hear about us from their neighbors or just see the sign when they're near Vikrant Circle. The floor gets messy with glitter and crayons all the time. We clean it up every evening after the last child goes home. It’s just a plain, simple place for children to stay for a few hours. We try to keep a routine, but with kids, things usually go off track pretty fast.
